Day 2

Day 2, MOSOR HIKING – SPLIT & TROGIR SIGHTSEEING

In the morning, get ready for hiking on the mountain Mosor which begins and ends in a little place called Sitno Gornje. You will climb about 300 meters above sea level to the mountain lodge on Mosor. The lodge is located 868 meters above sea level. The lodge provides a wonderful view of all the Dalmatian islands and the city of Split. The mountain lodge can provide lunch by arrangement. After the hiking tour once you return back to your hotel in Split, meet your guide at the lobby of THE hotel for the tour of Split and Trogir. Split is one of the living and breathing monuments both to the way people lived in the past and to different styles and influences that have been carved into its narrow streets, Roman temples and Christian churches. Outside the palace, the story of Split continues as it spreads from its center, the Palace, to beautiful vistas on the hill of Marjan, to the old town, waterfront promenade RIVA and its beaches. Trogir is a small island town around 30 km from Split. In the past, the town was a bitter enemy of Split, with wars being waged for the land that lies between the two famous cities. After Trogir tour, rest of the day is at leisure. We suggest having a drink at Vidilica, a beautiful belvedere overlooking the whole of Split and the surrounding area and having dinner in one of the restaurants on the West coast of city harbor, with stunning views of the city of Split.. Overnight in Split. Hotel Cornaro 4*. Meals: Breakfast

Day 3

Day 3, SPLIT - HVAR BIKING

This day is reserved for your time at leisure. You can either choose to get an early morning catamaran (around 9 AM) from Split to Hvar or an afternoon one (around 3 PM) depending on where would you like to spend more time that day. Once there, you will start a biking tour. A tour takes you away from steep Hvar hills, to its mild and lush middle part, to the heart of the island. We start the tour with a shuttle from Hvar town to Stari Grad. It is about a 15-20min drive. As we arrive at Stari Grad (Old town) we will easily ride through its long promenade outlining the deep protected bay. Stari Grad is the oldest settlement on the island, an ancient Greek colony. From Stari Grad we have numerous options where to go, so your day can be anything from 10-50km. Passing through the middle part of the island which is mild, and not as steep as the hills around Hvar town. Depending on the route you take you will pass also through some of the small beautiful traditional villages in the interior of the island. Our guides will decide about the route depending on the group and their fitness level. So we want to make sure that you will enjoy the day. The tour ends back in Stari Grad, and we get our car ride back to Hvar town. Overnight in Hvar. Hotel Amfora 4* Meals: Breakfast

Day 4

Day 4, HVAR HALF DAY SAILING & HALF DAY WINE TOUR

In the morning after breakfast get ready for a half day sailing tour of Paklinski islands. Feel the wind in your hair, listen to the sound of waves, and breathe in the fresh scent of the sea as you cruise around Paklinski Islands. Sailing is an art and an activity that restores an often misplaced connection with the natural environment. Not to mention, the sensation of traveling under Mother Nature’s wing toward the silhouette of a remote island at sea is absolutely exhilarating.

The afternoon is reserved for a wine tour. This sublime half-day program visits Hvar's most celebrated wineries. And the choice is entirely up to you! Perhaps it's the Dubokovic-Medvid winery, one of the country's leading boutique winemakers whose signature Plavac mali is superb. Or Bastijana winery, owned by the internationally-famous Croatian enologist Andro Tomic. Rounding out our trio of premier producers is Zlatan Otok, in the very heart of the Plavac mali wine-growing region, Sv. Nedelija. Zlatan Plenkovic's wine studio here is actually built into a sea cliff, with part of it actually below sea level! We'll begin our wine odyssey by following the lavender roads that stretch into the Hvar hills and beyond for about an hour. Once vineyards, these fragrant fields produced more than 600 tons of aromatic oil in the 1960s, but are now mostly abandoned As we drive through this wild beauty, we'll share stories about lavender, Hvar's legendary history, and of course, its stunning wine. After the wine tour a lunch a traditional lunch would be organized for you in an authentic setting, such as an olive grove or an abandoned village. In the evening we suggest having dinner in one of the restaurants on Paklenski islands, just in front of Hvar. To get there you can get one of the numerous taxi boats. We suggest RESTAURANT LAGANINI. Overnight in Hvar. Hotel Amfora 4* Meals: Breakfast, Wine tour lunch

Day 5

Day 5, HVAR- BLUE CAVE – GREEN CAVE

In the morning, you will meet your skipper to take you on a private speedboat excursion to visit the Blue cave. After exploring the blue cave, your skipper will take you to Komiža on the island of Vis, for a coffee break and strawl along the city promenade. After Komiza another unique destination is Stiniva, a small pebble beach hidden in a cove, where you would get some time for swimming and enjoying the sun, only to continue your maritime adventure in the Green cave. After the tour, your skipper would take you for a swim in a crystal clear sean near Palmizana and an optional lunch in one of the restaurants on the same small island. Day 6

Day 6, HVAR – SPLIT - STON – DUBROVNIK

After breakfast and a check-out procedure, you would embark on a public catamaran to take you from Hvar to Split where you would meet your driver. He will take you to Dubrovnik. On your way there, you will get to visit an oyster farm, as a part of a unique experience. Your host will be waiting for you in Hodilje, just 5 minutes away from the city of Ston by car. Once there you will embark on a boat, which will take you to the oyster and mussels farm, located in Malostonski bay. You will see how the oysters are grown in a short demonstration by your host. After the farm, he will take you to a small privately owned island that has been in his family for generations. Here you will get to taste the oysters from the farm accompanied by some local olive oil, wine, and rakija. To round the experience up the host will prepare Buzara sauce for you. This sauce for centuries is the base of the local cuisine, genuine Comfort food of Dalmatia. After enjoying oysters, your driver will take you to Dubrovnik. Once you check-in in hotel Bellevue 5*, you will meet your guide for a sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik, an ultimate tour for visitors who wish to take in all the main sights and explore the architecture and history of this famous city. Accompanied by our experienced guide, the story of Dubrovnik's golden age will unfold before your eyes. The route takes you around the Old Town via Onofrio's Fountain and up Prijeko Street to the Old Port - the key to Dubrovnik's trading and maritime success. Along the way, you will pay a visit to St. Saviour's, the grandiose Franciscan and Dominican church, and see wine-producing vines believed to be more than 100 years old. Ships from Dubrovnik were renowned throughout the Mediterranean and galleons from the Republic could be found in navies across Europe and beyond. These ships were built and loaded in the legendary Arsenal, which is another stop on the tour. Once in the Old Port, your guide will relate the stories of the famous Quarantine and the nearby fortresses of St. Luke and St. John as well as legends about the Church of St Blaise, the Cathedral, the Rector's Palace, Sponza Palace, and Orlando's Column. The tour lasts two hours and in that time you will be entertained, informed, and leave with a true understanding of Dubrovnik's multi-layered past. The rest of the day is at your leisure. We suggest having a combination of relaxing on Banje beach – halfway in between your hotel and old city. After short break on the beach you will paddle along the cost toward the City walls. Beaches, palm trees, boats, villas and hotels... form part of this tour. Paddling under the impressive city walls and rocks on which they were built on you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Pearl of the Adriatic from a different perspective. Unquestionably the most beautiful part of our sea adventure. Finish paddling toward the initial position in the Pile bay. Day 8

Day 8, KONAVLE BIKING TOUR

Standard biking tour starts at village Gruda in Konavle. We take our bikes to the small village roads that run across the lively Konavle region. The trail takes us through orchards, cornfields, vineyards, blueberry fields... We also cross the bridges of Ljuta and Konavočica rivers. The main route is easy to cycle on, quite flat with just a few short climbs. More experienced cyclists can arrange a more challenging route with their tour guide upon meeting. Occasional short breaks are made for getting acquainted with historical and natural characteristics of the Konavle region (like a visit to the Franciscan monastery, an old mill in Ljuta village, and waterfalls of river Ljuta). During our breaks, we will refresh ourselves with snacks and water. Konavle's folk traditions and way of life are still thriving in many of these settlements and this area is actually a plain skirted by the southern mountains of Herzegovina and Montenegro and its small population lives in some 32 villages scattered across this south-easterly tip of Croatia.
