Day 1

Day 1, DUBROVNIK ARRIVAL

Upon arrival at Dubrovnik Airport, you are greeted by the driver, holding your group name on a signboard, and taken to your hotel. After the check-in procedure, use the rest of the day to relax and rest for the remainder of the tour. Overnight in Dubrovnik, Hotel Bellevue 5*Meals: Breakfast

Day 2

Day 2, DUBROVNIK SIGHTSEEING TOUR

After breakfast, this day is reserved for discover Dubrovnik an ultimate tour for visitors who wish to take in all the main sights and explore the architecture and history of this famous city. Accompanied by our experienced guide, the story of Dubrovnik's golden age will unfold before your eyes. The route takes you around the Old Town via Onofrio's Fountain and up Prijeko Street to the Old Port - the key to Dubrovnik's trading and maritime success. Along the way, you will pay a visit to St. Saviour's, the grandiose Franciscan and Dominican church, and see wine-producing vines believed to be more than 100 years old. Ships from Dubrovnik were renowned throughout the Mediterranean and galleons from the Republic could be found in navies across Europe and beyond. These ships were built and loaded in the legendary Arsenal, which is another stop on the tour. Once in the Old Port, your guide will relate the stories of the famous Quarantine and the nearby fortresses of St. Luke and St. John as well as legends about the Church of St Blaise, the Cathedral, the Rector's Palace, Sponza Palace, and Orlando's Column. The tour lasts two hours and in that time you will be entertained, informed, and leave with a true understanding of Dubrovnik multi-layered past. The rest of the day is at your leisure. We suggest having a combination of relaxing on Banje beach. Light lunch in one of the restaurants such as restaurant Arsenal and then taking the cable car to Srd Hill overlooking Dubrovnik for an amazing sunset. Overnight in Dubrovnik. Day 3

Day 3, DUBROVNIK – STON - HVAR

After breakfast and a check out procedure, meet your driver at the lobby of the hotel. He will take you to Split the capital of the historical region of Dalmatia. On your way there you would make a stop in Ston, famous for salt production and also as a city which boasts with the longest wall after the Great Wall of China. Your guide would take you on a tour of this small city, which was for ages a source of fortune for the Dubrovnik Republic. After the tour an optional lunch in one of the local seafood restaurants (with vegetarian options as well) your driver will take you to Split to catch the fast public ferry from Split to Hvar. After reaching Hvar, check-in in Hotel Adriana 4*, refresh yourselves, and get ready for a tour of the city of Hvar. Our half-day tour starts with a car transfer to Hvar’s Fortica Castle, which is the best place for the most amazing view of the entire city and island archipelago. After learning more about the castle and its history we’ll begin our gentle stroll down to the city center through lush pine woods until we reach the old part of the town called Groda. At Groda we will stop at Benedictine Nun’s museum where you will see their signature works of art: Agava pattern laces, which last year became UNESCO protected. Afterward, we will discover the city square, Arsenal Theatre, cathedral and finish our tour with espresso at Cafe Piazza. After the tour evening at leisure. Overnight in Hvar. Day 4

Day 4, HVAR – THE FORGOTTEN HISTORY

This day is reserved to discover the old Hvar. We'll leave paved roads behind and tool up a dirt road that leads to Malo Grablje, a small village abandoned decades ago. We'll hop out to take a short walk through this picturesque 16th-century village. After Malo Grablje it's off to the island's historic lavender growing center of Velo Grablje and then a stop in Vidikovac for a perfect view of the island's deepest bay. It's here where our guide will tell you all about the area and the oldest town in Croatia, founded by ancient Greeks, After a short stop we'll shift into low gear for our climb to the island's highest peak, Saint Nicholas (626 m). Enjoy the unobstructed 360-degree view all the way to the islands of Brac, Korcula, and Vis. Below the high point of St. Nicholas, on a sloping sunny hillside, lies Sveta Nedija, a village surrounded by steep vineyards that are very difficult to tend. They are famous far and wide for high-quality red wine produced from Plavac grapes. Hang on for the downhill ride which will surprise you by its sheer variety of landscapes --vineyard-covered hills, olive groves, and undulating fields of rosemary and lavender. Then it's time to enjoy an authentic island lunch. If you wish, we can also stop for a short wine-tasting session at Croatia's best-known winemakers. Our authentic island lunch in the village of Vrisnik. After lunch we continue along the south coast, thought the island's infamous 1 way Zavala tunnel. Passing the south tunnel at Zavala we will break through to the island's south side, one of Croatia's most well-known, premier steep hill wine-growing areas. Then we'll wind up our day circling back to Hvar town, going off-road to drive along an amazing, cliff track with stupendous views of the entire Hvar island archipelago and south shore islands! Day 5

Day 5, HVAR – SPLIT AND TROGIR TOUR

In the morning, you will embark on a public catamaran from Hvar to Split. Once there, a driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel (5 minutes). After the check-in, meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel for a half-day tour of Split and Trogir. Split is one of the living and breathing monuments both to the way people lived in the past and to different styles and influences that have been carved into its narrow streets, Roman temples, and Christian churches. Outside the palace, the story of Split continues as it spreads from its center, the Palace, to beautiful vistas on the hill of Marjan, to the old town, waterfront (Riva), and its beaches. Trogir is a small island town around 30 km from Split. In the past, the town was a bitter enemy of Split, with wars being waged for the land that lies between the two famous cities. After the Trogir tour, the rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Split. Hotel Cornaro 4*. Meals: Breakfast

Day 6, SPLIT – KRKA NATIONAL PARK AND SIBENIK

After breakfast, your driver will take you to Krka National Park; you will get to enjoy the natural wonders which has been created for millenniums as river Krka interacted with karst limestone. After the tour, you will continue to Šibenik. There you will meet your guide for a sightseeing tour. It is a city that was founded by the Croatian King Petar Krešimir IV in the 11th century, and for a while, it was the seat of Croatian kings. With beautiful St. James Cathedral which took over 100 years to build is a monument to the people of Šibenik and their determination. Strong fortresses that looked over Šibenik and surrounding islands now offer magnificent views of the area they used to protect. Your guide would take you on a familiarization tour of this stunning city made of stone. After the tour, your driver will take you to your hotel in Split. On the way back numerous photo stops are optional, Primosten vista. You would reach Split in the late afternoon hours. Overnight in hotel Cornaro 4*Meals: Breakfast

Day 7

Day 7, SPLIT - NATIONAL PARK PLITVICE – ROVINJ

After breakfast and a check-out procedure, meet your driver at the lobby of the hotel. He will take you to Rovinj, making a stop in Plitvice National Park. Once there, you will walk to the entrance of the Plitvice National Park (300 m away from the Ethno house) that spreads across almost 200 km2 and consists of 16 lakes on the Korana river interconnected with the waterfalls. This is also a natural habitat of numerous plants and animal species. Enjoy one of the natural wonders of the world. After the tour, we suggest lunch at one of the local restaurants such as the restaurant Degenija. We shall be happy to make the arrangements for you. After lunch, your driver will take you to Rovinj. After checking in at Rovinj hotel, we suggest a leisurely walk along the seaside and climbing up to St. Euphemia’s church, to enjoy the views from the vista in front of it and afterward having dinner in one of the Rovinj restaurants with a sea view. Day 8, ROVINJ – MOTOVUN – POREC - ROVINJ

This day is reserved for a full-day tour, a trip to Motovun, a beautiful small city on top of a hill, surrounded by vineyards, in the middle of truffle land. Here you will join a local hunter and his dog on a truffle hunting presentation. After the hunt, we suggest having lunch in one of the restaurants in Motovun. It is hard to make a mistake if you dine in any of the local restaurants, but we suggest trying out restaurant “Mondo” located just in front of the city gate, also presented in the NO Reservations episode by Anthony Bourdain. After the Motovun tour, you will head to Porec, famous for its Euphrasian basilica for a tour of Porec and basilica. After the Porec tour, you would head back to Rovinj, the capital of romance in the Adriatic. Your guide will take you on a sightseeing tour of Rovinj old town. Since then it undertook the transformation from a small fishing village to the tobacco industry capital of Croatia, to the postcard city that is a traveler resort, this city with stunning views in front of St. Euphemia's church as well as an artistic neighborhood has continuously been at the epicenter of best destinations in Croatia. Day 9

Day 9, ROVINJ – PULA – FAZANA – NP BRIJUNI

This day is reserved for a sightseeing tour of Pula, a city whose importance was recognized by the Romans, with an amazing amphitheater, as well as a visit to NP Brijuni. Your guide would explain how from the Romas to Austro-Hungarian monarchy Pula always kept the strategical role and was one of the most important ports on the eastern Adriatic coast. In NP Brijuni you would get to stroll in between Roman ruins as well as enjoy the wildlife, which was brought there by Tito, ruler of Yugoslavia. Day 10, ROVINJ – LIM BAY - ZAGREB

After breakfast, meet your driver in the lobby of your hotel, ready to take you to Zagreb, the most romantic place in the Mediterranean. On your way there you will make a stop for lunch in Lim bay, one of the locations, which were presented on No Reservations by Bourdain. If you desire to taste some of the seafood you will get to chose a la cart from the restaurant Fjord’s menu. After optional lunch, continue to Zagreb. After check in to your Zagreb hotel, meet your guide for a sightseeing tour of the capital of Croatia: Your guide will take you on a sightseeing tour of the capital of Croatia: Zagreb’s main square – Ban Jelačić Square named after our viceroy/governor from the middle of 19th century. The tour continues with the visit of two historic settlements – Kaptol and Gradec – from which Zagreb, as a capital city, developed. On Kaptol you will not only learn about the biggest Cathedral in Croatia and Croatia’s Catholic Church but you will also get a chance to discover our picturesque farmer’s market Dolac. After crossing the border between the two hills, today the loveliest walking street in Zagreb, we walk up to Gradec, better known as Zagreb’s Upper Town, and enter it through medieval Stone Gate. Within the old walled hill of Gradec you will get a chance to see the seat of our countries administration, Parliament and Government buildings, as well as St. Mark's Church with the famous colored roof, baroque church of St. Catharine's and 16th-century Lotrščak tower. There’s an option to use Zagreb's Funicular, originally built in 1890, and known as the shortest ride funicular in Europe. After the sightseeing of the Croatian capital, evening at leisure. Day 11, ZAGREB – TRAKOŠĆAN – VARAŽDIN

After breakfast, you shall meet your driver and the guide at the hotel lobby for the trip into the Zagreb hinterland – ZAGORJE, the picturesque hilly northern region of Croatia, famous for its vineyard, medieval, renaissance, and baroque castles… One of the best-preserved castles is the TRAKOŠĆAN CASTLE dating back to 1334.last belonging to the Drašković noble family. It is decorated with an artwork collection and is considered to be the best collection of ancient furniture. View from the top of the hill across the valley, the lake and the surroundings is priceless… After the Castle sightseeing, we continue to VARAŽDIN, known as the pearl of the baroque in Croatia. In the middle of the town, your visit starts with the Varaždin castle – an old town then continues through the squares and streets to the mains square with the city hall. We suggest lunch at the ZLATNA GUSKA (Golden goose) restaurant, a medieval-style interior, and a brilliant combo of traditional and modern cuisine with only the finest local produce. Day 12, ZAGREB ONWARD
